NED (Nonlinear Experimental Design) is an automation predictive analytics application. The application aids in the design of engineering systems based on highly complex mechanistic models. The program is designed to run simulations based on a known mechanistic model with injected real-world noise. Candidates are then selected based on this simulated data and all postulated candidate models are evaluated against the generated data. The program then selects the correct model using as little data as possible.
